The grounding space

After pregnancy loss, women are often left with little guidance on how to heal and rebuild. You’re told “It will feel better in time” and you can “Move when you’re ready” but no one explains how much of an impact grief can have on you physically, how it can change how you feel about your body, and how you may need some extra support to help you regain your balance.

The Intara Grounding space was created to provide this support that has been missing, by woman who have lived through it. Through trauma-informed movement, guided practices and expert-led resources, you'll be gently supported to reconnect with your body, process difficult emotions and find steadier ground beneath your feet.

There is no pressure to move on and no expectation to heal in a certain way. Just practical, compassionate support from people who understand.

Grounding is a structured 16-week specialist Pilates Programme combined with a toolkit of practical, expert-led emotional support tools that help you to navigate the hardest moments of this journey.

Inside Grounding, you’ll find:

  • Trauma-informed Pilates
    Sessions designed to help you regain trust in your body and restore the mind-body connection that can be so deeply impacted by grief. The prgramme starts with exercises that are intentionally gentle and build over time, in each session we’ve built in optional progressions and regressions so you can do what feels right for your body each day.

  • Emotional support tools
    An expert-led toolkit, that provides you with practical guidance and exercises that you can use to help you navigate the hardest moments. From CBT based tools to breathwork, guided meditation and coping practices. New tools are added every two weeks so your toolkit grows with you.

  • Expert insight
    Education and Insight from healthcare professionals and experts, on a range of topics from understanding how grief impacts the body, sleep, relationships, pelvic floor building and more.

  • Grounding is for any woman who has experienced pregnancy loss and is looking for practical, expert support to heal, physically and emotionally. Whether you're newly recovering or further along in your journey, Grounding is for you.

  • You'll have access to a tailored 16 week programme of expert-led Pilates instruction focused on building sustainable strength, and a toolkit of practical emotional support tools to help manage anxiety and grief. New content is added every two weeks.

  • No. Everything in Grounding is on demand so you can access it whenever you need it. There's no schedule to keep and no pressure to show up.

  • That's completely okay. The emotional support tools, breathwork and expert sessions are all there for you independently of the movement content. Come to the movement when you're ready.

  • Everyone will feel ready at a different time. We'd always recommend consulting your doctor before starting any new exercise after a recent loss. Please review our health information page before commencing your Grounding programme.

  • For the early weeks you wont need any equipment, although you may find it comfortable to exercise on a Pilates mat.

    As the exercise progresses it would be helpful to have a yoga block and resistance band.

  • Founding members are the name we give to the first 50 people to sign up for our programmes.

    As a founding member you will receive a special discounted rate on monthly subscription or one-time purchase.

    Founding members will also receive occasional requests for feedback on your experience with Intara which we will use to improve our offering. There is no obligation to provide any feedback.

  • Yes, you can cancel at any time by logging into your account. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period and no further payments will be taken. We don't offer refunds for the current billing period already paid.

  • As a digital product, the full programme payment is non-refundable once you have accessed the content. However, if you haven't yet logged in or accessed any content, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund under your statutory cooling-off rights.
