Grounding, support after birth trauma
Grounding is a structured 16 week programme that combines trauma-informed Pilates to restore your strength and mind-body connection, with an expert-led emotional support toolkit tailored for women who are carrying the weight of their experience.
Rebuild strength and connection with your body.
The grounding space
Birth trauma is not reserved for medical emergencies. If your birth left you feeling out of control, unheard, or like something happened that you can’t make sense of, if the experience has stayed with you in ways that feel difficult or distressing — then this is for you.
After a traumatic birth, women are often left with little understanding of what they've been through or how to begin to recover. You might be told you should feel grateful, that it's over now, that your baby is healthy. But no one addresses what happened to you, the loss of agency, the fear, the way it can change how you feel in your own body or in the relationships you hold - with loved ones or medical professionals.
Grounding was created to fill that gap, by women who understand that birth trauma is real, serious, and deserves proper support.
Grounding is a structured 16-week specialist Pilates programme combined with a toolkit of practical, expert-led emotional support tools, designed specifically to help you rebuild physical strength, rebalance your nervous system, and begin to feel safe in your body again.
