For Healthcare ProfessionalsYou can't hold them all the way through this. That doesn't mean they have to go through it alone.
Intara's Grounding programmes give your patients structured, expert-led support for the weeks and months after pregnancy loss or a traumatic birth. Our specialist programmes provide the tools to help them heal physically and emotionally, laying a strong foundation for whatever path they choose next.
What is Intara
Intara is a digital platform built to fill the gap between clinical discharge and genuine recovery. Our two core grounding programmes have been specifically developed to support women after pregnancy loss or a traumatic birth experience.
Each 16 week programme combines Pilates based exercise with practical emotional support tools and expert insights to help women rebuild their physical and emotional strength, reconnect with their bodies and to feel that they have a stronger foundation for whatever path they choose next.
Intara is not a generic wellness or post-partum programme, it has been carefully designed by experts and women with lived experience to provide the tools women need to heal and rebuild.
Intara provides four core strands of support, so patients aren’t left to piece together recovery alone:
Physical strengthening; A progressive course of gentle, trauma-informed Pilates, paced for where the body actually is post-loss or post-birth
Practical emotional support tools: structured guidance from a qualified perinatal clinical psychologist to help women face the everyday realities of recovery from managing grief, understanding thought patterns, managing difficult days and appointments
Holistic support: breathwork, meditation and holistic practice to support regulation and calm
Expert insights: A range of video interviews with our expert team of a perinatal psychologist, GP, and midwife to provide greater understanding of the realities and experiences around miscarriage and traumatic birth
Feel confident recommending Intara
Designed with clinical input, this is not just wellness content, Intara’s grounding programmes were developed alongside a group of experts; find out more about our team here.
Structured, not open-ended, Our programmes unlock new content every 2 weeks over 16 weeks, providing a clear arc, so patients aren't left guessing what "recovery" is supposed to look like at each stage.
Fills a real gap, most patients get little to no support once they're discharged; Intara gives you something concrete to hand over to support them through their recovery
Clear signposting, Intara was not built to be a substitute for clinical care or therapy, throughout our programmes we provide clear sign posting of when and how to should seek additional support, and comprehensive guidance on how to safely get back to exercise
Help your patients to get back to movement
Returning to movement after pregnancy loss or a traumatic birth can feel hard for a lot of women. Knowing what to do, when it’s safe and feeling connected enough to your own body to start are all real challenges that patients rarely receive real support with. Most are left to work it out alone, often too early or too fearfully.
Movement isn't just exercise. It's how a woman rebuilds trust in her body, and it lays the foundation for whatever comes next, including any future fertility journey.
To support you and your patients to better understand when and how to engage in exercise we’ve created two free returning to movement guides. Each provides a clear, phased, physiology-led path back based on a true understanding of what their body has been through.
